Session I: June 22 - July 10 (No school July 3) Session II: July 13 - July 30 7:45am-2:45pm
In this class, students will learn and apply theories of conservation and resource management. Students will gain a thorough understanding of the inter-relationships of humans, animals, plants, soil, water, and air. Students will plan, develop, manage and evaluate programs that protect and regulate natural habitats and renewable natural resources. Videos, guest presenters and projects will introduce students to skill requirements at both the technical and professional levels. Dual Credit: Students may earn college credit through this class.
Credit Equivalency: This class qualifies as a lab science in the Franklin Pierce School District. Please confirm credit equivalency with your high school counselor.
Students have one-half hour for lunch each day. PCSC summer school has an open campus policy which allows students to leave campus and purchase lunch off-site. Students may also bring a sack lunch from home. There is no microwave available to students.
