Glass! Playing with Fire
Tacoma Art Museum
Glass is both a liquid and solid material. Artists can transform it in endless ways. Join us to experiment with a variety of techniques such as painting on glass, mosaic, fusing, mixed-media, and glassblowing. Explore at TAM and around town to learn about glass art created by local and international artists (Dale Chihuly, Preston Singletary, and others). Guided field trips include visits to the Museum of Glass, Union Station, Bridge of Glass, and more. You will feel like a true emerging artist when family and friends view your masterpieces at the camper celebration, held on the last day of each camp at 4 pm.
