Pierce County Skills Center

Session I: June 22 - July 10 (No school July 3) Session II: July 13 - July 30; 7:45am-2:45pm

Students will learn how to use and integrate scanning, computer software (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), and various traditional media to help you realize your creative vision. You will design brochures, posters, ads, and learn about packaging design.  You will strengthen your conception skills, verbal communication (through ongoing critiques), and your ability to develop creative solutions within the restrictions of a given project. Dual credit may be available.

Credit Equivalency: Fine Arts, CTE Elective

Please confirm credit equivalency with your school counselor.

Students have one-half hour for lunch each day. PCSC summer school has an open campus policy which allows students to leave campus and purchase lunch off-site. Students may also bring a sack lunch from home. There is no microwave available to students.
