Lakewold Gardens
A series of workshops designed to help kids discover the wonderful world of nature and plants. Each workshop features a different topic and consists of a dedicated lesson, outdoor activity and snack break, and a hands-on project related to the topic, including time in our new Children's Garden.
Cost: Donations accepted/Pay what you can
Registration: Space is limited to 15 kids per session, so please register using the link below. Drop ins can be accepted only is space permits.
When: Saturday series (every 3rd Saturday of the month) from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm:
- April 18th, Diggin' in the Dirt: Plan & Plant
- May 16th, Workin' the Garden- What's Next
- June 20th, Soil + Seeds= Salads; Eat Your Veggies
- July 18th, Birds of the Pacific NW
- August 15th, Insect Safari
- September 19th, Community Kids Day
- October 17th, Autumn Harvest & What Winter Brings
