Intro to Pre-Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine

Students will be introduced to the healthcare field of the physical therapy assistant. PTA’s are skilled technical health care professionals who are capable of carrying out treatment programs under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. Students will learn taping techniques using hands on demonstrations and earn their first aid/cpr certification.
This course may qualify as a health credit. Please check with your counselor for credit equivalency at your school.
Students have one half-hour for lunch each day. PCSC summer school has an open campus policy which allows students to leave campus and purchase lunch off-site.
