Panther Day Camp
Diabetes Association of Pierce County
The only day camp in Washington state dedicated to children with Type-1 diabetes, Panther Day Camp is a unique and life-changing opportunity. Campers will be able to build relationships with others who have shared similar experiences, learn more about the condition of diabetes in order to lead a healthy, confident life, and also enjoy fun recreational and educational activities.
Transportation out to Camp Berachah is available at the following locations:
- St. Clair Hospital, Lakewood
- Allenmore Hospital, Tacoma
- South Hill Mall, Puyallup
- Kmart, Spanaway
- St. Francis Hospital, Federal Way

Diabetes Association of Pierce County
<p> Diabetes Association of Pierce County offers a week long day camp for children with Type 1 diabetes who are between the ages of 4 to 13 years old. Our camp, "Panther Day Camp" will run Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31, 2015. Panther Day Camp allows campers to meet other children living with Type 1 diabetes and talk to adults who have grown up with Type 1 diabetes.</p> <p> Activities focus on having fun and making friends while including diabetes education. Staffed by medical volunteers with the Diabetes Association of Pierce County.</p> <p> Please contact the Diabetes Association of Pierce County office at: (253)272-5134 to request a camper registration packet.
