Steilacoom’s 2025 4th of July Parade & Fireworks

Come celebrate the 2025 Steilacoom Chamber of Commerce sponsored Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States of America on Friday, July 4, 2025 as an independent nation with a parade, fireworks show, great food and much much more!

The event Steilacoom is most known for takes place on the 4th of July. Each year, the Steilacoom Chamber of Commerce presents the Grand Old 4th of July Celebration in conjunction with the Town of Steilacoom. The parade will be filled with activities and events such as the kid's bike parade, a street fair, live music, a beer garden, and MANY great vendors, and much more. Every year, this event ends with a bang — literally — as the Fireworks Presentation Committee treats us all to a spectacular fireworks extravaganza over Puget Sound.

Our fireworks are financed entirely by voluntary contributions from private citizens and businesses. Every dollar collected is put directly into the display. The expense to put on a fireworks display of this magnitude is in excess of $40,000. To contribute click the link below. Four on the Fourth - Run and Fundraiser

Information for the 36th Annual Four on the Fourth - Run & Fundraiser

Starts at Steilacoom Town Hall. We will have a 4 mile for adults and 1 mile for kids.

Registrations are also accepted on the day of the event for an additional charge of $5

7:30 AM – Registration + Bib Pick Up Opens

8:45 AM – Registration + Bib Pick Up Closes

9:00 AM – Start of 4 Mile

9:05 AM – Start of 1 Mile Kids

Street fair, parade, and fireworks will follow

- Electronic Chip Timing

- USATF Certified Course and Sanctioned Event

- Scenic, mostly flat, road course travels out-and-back along the waterfront

- Event shirts available for purchase during online registration until June 30th at 11:59 PM

- For everyone's safety, pets are not allowed on the course

- Gift cards are given to the most patriotic dressed

- Awards are available immediately after finishing

4 Mile Awards:

- Medals are given to 1st place overall male and female

- Ribbons are given to top 3 in each gender and age group

Age Groups:

0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99, 100+

1 Mile Kids Awards:

- Every kid receives a finisher ribbon and a small USA flag

Support from the following organizations and your participation in this event provides funds to purchase shoes and uniforms for local youth runners, as well as provides a college scholarship for a graduating senior.
